There are rumours that the Z12E 3-cylinder engine, which will provide a greater low-end and mid-range performance, will be installed in the next-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift. In some trim levels, this motor is matched with a 48V mild hybrid system. The Japanese-spec vehicle comes standard with a CVT, however, AWD is an optional extra. It is anticipated that the India-spec Swift will avoid an AWD layout. Furthermore, a manual gearbox will be available for the Indian market.

In its Japanese iteration, the all-new Maruti Suzuki Swift comes equipped with a 9-inch infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree parking camera that can be used with a dashcam, automated climate management, and other features. The automated trims also come equipped with an electric parking brake. The dashboard’s design is also new. Overall, the cabin maintains the classic Suzuki aesthetic while sporting a more upscale and expensive appearance thanks to part-sharing.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift: Design
The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift is unique but recognizable, maintaining the classic Swift stance with a flat window line that smoothly blends into the bonnet and a flat roof that tapers down towards the back. The Swift looks more modern and angular because of its completely revamped design. Headlights that sweep back and a revised bumper are added to the front end. The car appears longer this time, and the rear door handles are in their typical places. Although the rear bumper has been modified for greater sportiness, the appearance of the tail lamps feels familiar.

The ADAS capabilities, which include lane assistance, forward collision aid, adaptive cruise control, pedestrian and cross-traffic support, low-speed forward and rear braking support, and blindspot assistance, are the most noteworthy additions to the new Swift.
