Every quarter, there is a significant bit of churn in this budget range, and this time is the same. This month, we’ve included a bunch of new 5G-ready phones to our list of phones under Rs 15,000. To put things in perspective, there was only one 5G phone on the sub-15K list a quarter ago. As usual, we have phones with excellent cameras, screens with fast refresh rates, and one with an AMOLED display as well. So let’s look at who this month qualified for less than Rs 15,000 in pay.
Motorola G54 5G
The Motorola G54 5G is a fantastic choice and comes with a ton of wonderful features that are difficult to get in this price range. It features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate to eliminate flicker. This phone has a modest IP52 rating and a water-repellent construction. The MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chip, which is a great option in this market, powers the Motorola G54 5G. Within this price range, you get the 128 GB internal (expandable) storage model with 8 GB of RAM. With a 6000 mAh battery and a 33W fast charger included, it can operate for more than two days with moderate use. The G54 offers a simple, nearly stock Android user interface and runs the most recent version of Android, version 13.

Poco X5 5G
Thanks to its comprehensive feature set, the Poco X5 5G is still a good sub-15K option. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal (expandable) storage power this phone. Another uncommon feature in this price range, the phone’s 6.67-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display boasts a peak brightness of 1200 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate. Samsung Galaxy F14 5G
The Samsung Galaxy F14 5G feels like a huge improvement over the F13. For its competitive asking price, it provides a more powerful processor and a solid selection of features. You receive a 6.6-inch Full HD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 as protection. This phone is 5G capable and is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1330 chip, which is an obvious improvement over the Exynos 850 in the F13. It has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, both of which can be upgraded with a microSD card.
Two cameras with a mix of a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP macro camera make up the photography section of the device. A 13MP front camera for selfies and video calls is also included. The Samsung Galaxy F14 5G has a sizable 6000 mAh battery that may last more than two days under moderate use and supports 25W rapid charging. The box does not, however, include a charger. A nice 25W fast charger may be purchased for a reasonable price that is still well within our budget. The device has One UI 5.1 on top of Android 13.

Realme Narzo 60X 5G
Realme’s recently released Narzo 60X 5G is likewise a device to take into account. The display is a substantial 6.72-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD with 120Hz refresh rate, and the design is attractive. A MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, which is adequate for this price range, powers it. You also receive 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, the latter of which can be upgraded with a microSD card.

Last but not least, the Infinix Hot 30 5G makes a compelling argument for itself thanks to a plethora of features at a competitive price. In addition to having a beautiful appearance, it provides IP53-rated ingress protection against moisture and dust. With a 120Hz refresh rate, it has a big 6.78-inch Full HD+ display. An 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage with microSD card expansion are included with this phone, which is run by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC.
Additionally, the company touts dual speakers that are DTS-compliant, but be realistic in your expectations. A depth sensor and a 50MP primary camera make up the photography section.
